"I've learned quite a bit (in 1995). The hitters have seen me, but I've also seen them. Scouting reports and all that are great, but now I know what they can do off me, and I know what I should throw them. I'm a different pitcher than say a Roberto (Hernandez) or an Alex (Fernandez) or a (Jason) Bere. My fastball does different things. It's slower, but it moves a little bit more than some, and maybe I'm more of a curveball pitcher than others. I see myself as a versatility guy. A guy who can go in and spot-start and be a bullpen guy, plug the hole, whatever is leaking." - Keyser, Brian. Keyser Has Chance To Stay Up. Sullivan, Paul. Chicago Tribune Staff Writer. 26 March 1996.
